Essence of Christmas

Christmas is the most awaited occasion for everybody. People busied themselves decorating their houses with the shining shimmering splendid lights.  Some starts wrapping gifts and buying clothes.  This is the old tradition that we keep on doing.  This Yuletide season, I find Christmas as a simple celebration.  I would be true that during this day, I don’t really feel the wind of Christmas because of what of my countrymen particularly in Visayas region is suffering.  I don’t find Christmas very expensive.  The essence of Christmas is giving, lending help to those who need most, encouraging people to stand from the sinkhole of their bad experiences and start a new life. I wish I had courage to scream to everybody that even though we fall the difficulties of today and yesterday we must enjoy this season because everything happens in a reason, some might be good some might be bad.

Climate Change

Mother earth is very efficient for the humanity.  God created it with great love and care.  This was created to support the basic needs of all creatures.  Long time ago, mother earth was plentiful and love by all people.  It serves as a natural habitat for all the wild animals.

       Because of our wrongful deeds, mother earth is giving us of what is due to us in destructing it.  The illegal logging kaingin farming, mining and cutting trees for lumber and hardware to make furniture.  We are senseless.  We couldn’t actually care for it, we just continue destroying it.  In connection, the super typhoon Yolanda who nearly landed in Tacloban marked as very traumatizing incidents.  Many people died, houses were damage and some of their love one’s is still missing.  It’s getting really hot in here.

In this tragedy, we shall make an action for the future.  We will need the nature to support our needs.  We must care for it.Don’t let that this kind of natural phenomenon will be suffered by innocent children.

      Equality

    Opportunities are a favourable combination of circumstance, time and place a chance for advancement. Right a privilege to which one has a just or lawful claim.  These days, equal rights and equal opportunities must be implemented because of unequal treatment of a leader to his men. Like in criminal cases, which is the poor is the victim who still screaming for justice but the problem is, How can they attain is. When the criminal has the power to pay, it means the case will dismiss and it will not exile. Same is through in school; mostly students who are not popular are the bullied by those students who has a great connection to the most powerful.

There will be a time that those being discriminated will be recognized; the poor will afford to go to school as what rich man’s do.

Language is a method of combining words used and understood by a community through the style of verbal expressions that is used to carry information by a people.  English is the language of England of London, the United States and many areas formerly under the British rule.  English is known today as the international language for community people in different nations.

This year, month of October, the English department of Ilocos Sur National High School hosts the English Olympics.  Commonly, we define Olympics as a great and modified revival of an ancient Greek festival  consisting of international athletic contests that are held every four years but this kind of Olympics differs from the athletic games instead it is a battle of using your knowledge related to English . Students joined different activities like spelling bee, quiz bee, declamation, speech choir, and debate seminar.  I can say that it grandeur a lot and it develops self-confidence of a student to show up their mystic policy regarding on a particular manner.

Language should not be barrier for the global unity of people around the world.

    Second grading period is up to end, we students of IV – Bonifacio learned a lot about basic HTML tags and how to use Notepad. At first it was so confusing to do but we tend to explore on how to use it.

        Many activities are expected to accomplish as a requirement for us to graduate. Likely posting on our blog account, making articles by applying what we learned from using notepad taught by Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz as our teacher in our ICT IV.

         In this grading we had a lot of hands-on activities, by this we learned and have an experience to basic programs in computer for us in future to have a good and well experienced persona.  I hope in this coming 3^rd grading period life would be easy for us.

A teacher, a mentor and an educator.  Every single day teachers are always at this way. Through the years of people’s Excellency, teachers were at behind us.

Being a teacher is not an easy to do .you need to sacrifice your time to attain the goal for your profession. To our dedicated and very supporting teachers we salute you for what you are doing. You are contributing in our life and in our country. If there’s no teacher maybe our life would be so complicated for we are knowledgeable. We thank you for moulding us serves us a role model and a second parent in school.

Forever is not enough to appreciate and value the struggles of a teacher. Much more on they’re lives. Sometimes they forgot to lend happiness to their selves.  So in this matter, teacher must have an increase in their salaries; because they deserve to have it instead some of our lawmaker’s use their fund in insufficient way.

     Times goes by, and every time there’s change there’s no permanent in this world, as we can see nowadays Philippines experience different catastrophes that is more delicate from the past which I think which cause by the unstoppable need of humanity.  The   needs that may provide to circulate the cycle of life. That may most of us couldn’t think about what is happening because of different business establishments that they constructed, using some kind of methods such as burning that may affect the thickens of the ozone layer.  

     I as a student and a person live in surrounded by nature; I must take the action first in myself.  By, simply avoiding littering from place to place. We must reforest rate to the time that we deforest rate. We shall serve as a role model for changed for the new generation.

       Why do we ask somebody if the solution is in our hand?

 

                  Modern Day Hero

    

        During  this  days,   are we   aware if those heroes who had contributed a lot? In the   pre -historic times heroes were already existed, to helped our country to be free from foreign intruders. Many would say that if you ask them, Can you give some of the famous heroes? Some would answer you, Batman, superman and other more. But do we need to ask that if in ourselves we can be a hero in our own way .  In this modern time, were technologies influence us a lot, can we find for a true hero?  

      In this modern day , were technologies influence us a lot , can you find a hero? I look up those people who can help their countrymen during their trials and circumstances . Those people who are willing and ready to sacrifice their own life for the sake of all, but not that type of people who just wanted to be recognize by others. I look up those people who help their countrymen in their trials.My mother influences me a lot , in the time that she had to carry me in her womb for 9 months in that way I feel the love and sacrifice of my mother .For taking good care of her family in order that we will grow for what is nice .Many of us plays an important role in our society for a better future.

                                                                

                                             Wika  Natin Ang Daang Matuwid

                                Every Month of August , Filipinos are celebrating the Buwan Ng Wika this was early implemented by our former president Manuel L. Quezon .These is celebrated in honor to our  heroes who fought for our freedom in the of the foreign intruders .There are many programs to be held . In this month many are preparing and busy making their own presentation more efficient to the crowd.

                               Ilocos Sur National High School hosts the Buwan Ng Wika , different activities that everyone can participate. Buwan Ng Wika emphasizes our own native land and nationality that every filipino must be proud of . for me , having these kind of special occassion can unite filipinos al over the world . We were born to live and enjoy that we have because being a filipino makes me proud . Before the Spaniards came here in the Philippines , Filipinos were underestimated by them .They even call us "Indio".which insults us .

                              For me, we can express our patriotism in many ways . Let us not forget that we are filipinos.

                       

                                                                    My  Experience 

                     Another year had past and I had many experiences through my third year level . After third year here it comes fourth year  the consciousness is in my hand . I am so willing to understand more especially the  topics that to be discuss by our teachers . First day of  class I felt so nervous because I am lack of knowledge in terms in ICT subject .First, we met our teacher  Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz I thought she is so very strict but then again I explore more unto her  I found out that she is a  nice teacher .
         
                      Creating blog accounts are not easy to do . You must enough knowledge     to enhance your skills in making it . I was so confused when our teacher told us to make some blog accounts because I know in myself that I am not enhance in terms of  technology so I promised to myself that I will not be late in making blogs so  I listened very carefully to the instructions given  by our mentor . And finally I made it in the  very best that I can . Thank's God I  overcome it. 

                     I overcome this challenges by exploring on how make it. I put in my mind that, "if others can why can't I ? " there is no impossible in this world. Also believe in your self that you can do it . There is no hindrance to success. 

                                        STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS

                        President Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III delivered his state of the nation address last July 22, 2013. Many were there to witness the speech and the accomplishment of our country. Some were not contented with his speech . They just thought the lackings of our president.

                       Well, for me his SONA, this is much better because if you define SONA this is a delivered speech by the president pf our country .He had the opportunity to voice out all the anomalies and progression of our country by a long speech to the crowd.This done every year because it embodied by the accomplishment, failures of our country some would think that they could not feel the improvement of their life . President Aquino is doing his best to improve our life status . The future is in our hand not on his hand .

                       Let us help him and one another to improve our life . Let us not blame others because the future is in our hand. Instead , search for job that suit to your skills and improve your life don't just depend on others.

Nutrition Celebration

                                       NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION


                               Ilocos Sur National High School is celebrating the nutrition month . This is conducted every month of July with the theme:" Gutom at Malnutrisyon sama- sama nating wakasan."
                               According to survey, Philippines is the 12th most populous country  all over the world. Most of us, mostly those who are residing along the streams suffers from improper digestion due to the food that they eat.
                              In connection, children most age 1-10 suffers from malnutrition and hunger because their parents are unemployed. This problem can be solved by giving them enough knowledge on how will the parents prepare for the food of their children. The food must be based from the food pyramid. This is to guide us in serving the right amount of food should be take. In school, must implement the no junk foods and softdrinks. Government shall help especially the Department of Health in presiding a free kitchen soup in school or even in their barangay. We should help them also by sharing our knowledge on how to eat properly.In this case, percentage of malnurish children will decrease.

Dear Mr. President of the Philippines,
    

          Good day Sir, this is Deserie V. Mandac student of Ilocos Sur National High School, Gomez St . Barangay VII Vigan City Ilocos Sur. This regards to the parents who can't send their children to school because they are unemployed. May I appeal this issue to you  so that parent's will be able to search for their job in order to send their children to school. In this matter, a few will only be uneducated people in our country. I hope that you can implement more job vacancies for those who are unemployed. If ever you will read my letter I hope that you will understand my feelings. This is to help more children who can't afford schooling and will lessen street children and early labor here in the Philippines.
