Going Global Through English Language
Language is a method of
combining words used and understood by a community through the style of verbal
expressions that is used to carry information by a people. English is the language of England of
London, the United States and many areas formerly under the British rule.
English is known today as the international language
for community people in different nations.
This
year, month of October, the English department of Ilocos Sur National High
School hosts the English Olympics.
Commonly,
we define Olympics as a great and modified revival of an ancient Greek
festival consisting of international athletic contests that are held
every four years but this kind of Olympics differs from the athletic games
instead it is a battle of using your knowledge related to English . Students joined different activities like spelling bee,
quiz bee, declamation, speech choir, and debate seminar. I can say that it
grandeur a lot and it develops self-confidence of a student to show up their
mystic policy regarding on a particular manner.
Language should not be
barrier for the global unity of people around the world.
